Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.279860 Curiosities served |

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "I pay no attention whatever to anybody's praise or blame. I simply follow my own feelings." - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Wow, today is foggy. This morning when I got up it was all gray. When I went out to the truck there was mist in the air and the feeling of angel kisses against my face. Well, whatever the weather is, I love it. The splendors of nature showed themselves this morning as I watched the sparrows in our front yard. About six little creatures were feeding. Then I noticed this one who looked a bit disheveled. He/she was following this other one around. Every now and again the disheveled one would stop and open its mouth and the one being followed would put, what I assume, some seed(s) in its mouth. Then the parent (?) would hop away to feed for itself only to be followed by the young one who would peck the ground but then turn toward its parent with its mouth open. The parent would provide the seed. This went on for over a minute before they all flew away. Such was my nature lesson of the day My morning was spent at the laundromat. Here is my proof: Since last week was so busy and this week looks the same, I chose to stay home from the meeting and do laundry. Because of our financial situation, I do the laundry once a month. By month's end we are at the end of clean clothes or out so laundry day is always appreciated. I had been trying to do one load at a time but for today I did all at once. Whew, my arms and upper back were aching after all that folding of clothes. I was ready for home and Michael was up and assisted me in getting the baskets and cleaning supplies into the apartment. I am now ready to put my feet up for awhile. Oh, I have another job since Saturday. My next door neighbor collapsed up on 9th Street and was taken to a local hospital. How I found this out was her daughter called me to check on the apartment and to care for the cat. I said no problem. Luckily, I went over and took care of the cat. I had found the key to the apartment so now I could lock up. While I was there the sheriff appeared and I told him we had everything under control until my neighbor returned home. Now I am a cat sitter. Other than that, it has been a quiet day around the home. Bailey has spent a good amount of time in my lap. mz. em ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Currently reading: -- "The City and The City" - China Mieville ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "I expect to pass through life but once.
