Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.279949 Curiosities served |

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "Your net worth to the world is usually determined by what remains after your bad habits are subtracted from your good ones." - Benjamin Franklin ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Now you all know how much I love my Bailey. I've written of him often in these entries. However, right about 7 a.m., just a few minutes before my alarm went off, "Crash!!! I thought it was Bailey knocking my bottle of pills off the nightstand. But no, the little fur ball had knocked my vase of flowers off the stand. I don't get it. He was alone yesterday afternoon while we went into SLO-town so I could donate blood. He could have had a blast in the apartment going after all the vases but he didn't. He waited till the alarm was to go off. Grrrr. I wasn't ready to wake up yet. Bailey is such a little dear. I don't know what I would do without him. Bailey "the flower killer" the cat. Who me? Today hasn't started yet besides the fallen vase of flowers, an omelet with toppings of sour cream and Fox Point seasoning, and a cup of tea. Yesterday though was a day of scratching one's head and making decisions. I had signed up to donate blood. Only Michael had to go and get a gas voucher so we had gas to get into town. There was a hold up there. I called the Blood Bank to advise them I could not make my appointment and I made one for later in the day. The strange thing is both Michael and I were tired and would fall asleep the instant we became still. Shoot I was scared I would sleep through the alarm I set for the Blood Bank and thank heavens for my alarm for my medications. I arrived at the blood bank a little after 3 p.m. and was taken right in. Everything was going good until they said my hemoglobin was not high enough for the R2 which is where they separate the blood into its different elements. For today, I was giving whole blood. Some is better than none I guess. I will have to do some research on this to make sure my blood is where it is supposed to be. To end Thursday, it was once again falling asleep in our respective seats in the living room. I had wanted to see Rock Center with Brian Williams. Oh well, I can only wish for an encore. Back to Friday, I wanted to sleep but I couldn't. I got up in a fussy mood. I puttered around the computer. I found an interesting thing: I cannot type a "k" at Flicker when I'm posting a comment. I am learning how to stay away from words which have "ks" in them. The omelet has settled nicely in my tummy enough so I went in the living room with Michael, he to nap; me, tried to nap - no go, started to read my latest "Yankee" magazine and Bailey napped in my lap. Gosh, he is so cute when he is napping. So, it is quiet in my little apartment this morning. mz. em ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Currently reading: -- "Possession - A Romance" - A. S.
