At least that's what my hub says. He did watch the first episode of Jane Austen's "Sense and Sensibility."

Husband: "Are you getting any of this?"

Me: "Yes dear."

Husband: "This seems like a soap opera."

Me: "I guess you could consider that."

Husband: "Do you understand any of these people? They are talking gibberish."

Me: "Some of it catches me up but mostly I understand them."

Husband: "This is a chick flick, why don't you watch it when I'm not watching TV?"

Me: "Okay, that sounds like a good plan."

Granted I would like to experience the stories but with the running commentary distracts me to no end. So while my darling hubby is out, I have been watching the show and I'm up to Episode Four and I've thoroughly enjoying it.

I have learned over the years that as much as I would like, we are not going to be able to share everything together. And, that is just the way it is.
