Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.279970 Curiosities served |

Waxing Gibbous Moon in Taurus Mercury goes Direct ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "Bizarre travel plans are dancing lessons from God." ~ Kurt Vonnegut ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ So far for this Cyber Monday I have in my e-mail the following ads: 1. Ace Hardware, this is a local store in town 2. Starbucks, I have a card 3. Amazon, thanks to Mz. Bex, I have begun shopping there 4. Zinni Optical, they have a pair of frames I want to purchase Before this onslaught were the Black Friday sale ads. I wish there was a place I could sign up to not be bothered by the ads because I do not shop on these days. I am not spurred on by the ads on the telly either. Basically, I just don't shop unless I have a need. I go to my local store and I purchase it. Back in the day when I lived in Kansas, I would go to the mall to go window shopping but not anymore. I woke up in a foul mood this morning. I don't have any energy to get things done except I made myself a cup of tea and I started the dishwasher; gotta love my dishwasher, Lady Maytag. After two nights of acid indigestion, I have had a night where that did not bother me. Of course, I slept on two pillows. I need to remember to eat earlier. It is gloomy this morning, no windows or doors open today. Although we did put the cat grass outside the slider door so it gets some sunshine. The apartment we live in doesn't give much light for indoor plants. Nor, does it have good window placement. I have some small plants on the window ledge but I am afraid of them being knocked off when we open the windows. I have also noticed the change in the position of the sun now that we have had the time change. Now I worry about my plants outdoors. I also need to do some pruning and weeding. It could be I need to rearrange some plants as well. This afternoon, the cooking fairy waved her wand over me and I had the cooking feeling envelope me. It started with apple cobblers with a recipe that Bex sent to me. I did find plenty of apples in one of the draws. That is if I get to them before my darling husband finds them and needs a snack. Instead I end up making a turkey pot pie. Pretty easy and the crust came out better than the crust for the apple pie the other day. Michael has been helping out but staying out of the way when I'm zooming on my own. The pie went together pretty easy. This was where Michael helped out by deboneing (sp?) the rest of the turkey. My pie turned out superb. Now Michael is thinking about making a turkey soup from the bones and the meat that is left over. I mean just how many turkey sandwiches can one eat? So now I am relaxed and my kitchen smells very good. mz. em ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Currently reading: -- "Possession - A Romance" - A. S.
