Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.279984 Curiosities served |

Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." - Marcus Aurelius ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Where has this week gone? It seems like it was just Saturday, yesterday. I know I was busy all week with Al-Anon meetings and time spent with members. Michael and I did errands plus doctor visits. Rain has been predicted all week and it finally showed up today. It did sprinkle some last night but turned to rain early this morning. It is cold and chilly, and I for one, am going to stay inside today. I can get caught up on some of my household projects. Plus, we received notice yesterday from the housing authority with the date of our annual apartment inspection. I really hate this because it feels so invasive. Oh well, a small price to pay to live in public housing. An exciting evening I had when I returned home from my Friday night meeting, Michael has been having the hiccups for two days. He called the VA 24 hour nurse and she told him to go to the ER and so we went. They didn't have too much to say about the hiccups but their remedy for them was a shot of Thorazine. Ouch. Michael says the injection area in his upper arm muscle is still sore today. Another nice thing about Saturday is we get a break from all the construction noise of the impending sewer. Yesterday they were working in front of the apartment complex. It was the end of the day when I came home. I was able to watch them finish cleaning up the road from the work they had done for the day. One new thing I learned is that since they were going to be back the next day (Thursday to Friday); they buried their small earth thumper in a hole. More dirt went on top, then a plate of steel and then sweeping and finishing up. All I know, is I would like them to come over to clean my house to do some of my cleaning. For today though, I am going to take it easy and just putter. mz. em ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Currently reading: -- "Possession - A Romance" - A.
