Ahh...leave. The sweet feeling of waking up after the sun rises.

Got up (eventually), went for my driving lesson and hopped over to the swimming pool. Oh joy! - having a day full of (non-work related) activities.

The sky was iron-grey but hey, I was (am) on leave, so it would blow over, right?

Wrong.

After 2 laps and a bit, the pool was boiling with rain. The lifeguard was whistling for all us hydromaniacs to get out of the pool into the soaking rain. (Wait, we were wet anyway...) Just as well, 'cause about 30 seconds later, there was a lightning strike pretty close by.

So I placed my bets on the storm blowing over again.

It did - for another 5 laps.

So I get out of the pool, shower and marvel at the irony as I towel dry.

Wet, dry, wet, dry.

So anyway, I had the opportunity to escort a young lady to the MRT station in the rain. It was a rather tongue-tying experience.
