I'm not quite sure what I want to write. But I'm here because I want someone to talk to.

And since there's no one home and its inconvenient to be anywhere else, I'll talk to myself and the world at large that wanders past this little digital noticeboard of my thoughts.

It then hits me that I'm boring myself to death and probably you too. And I don't feel like writing fiction today. So here's the truth of the matter.

It's December and it's going to be over soon. I mean, it's half over, isn't it? Another half and then it's over. Gone. Never coming back, not for months.

December. Used to be my second favourite month. November was my favourite because the holidays never ended when November did. Technically New Year's Day a holiday, but it's usually a workday eve, so it doesn't really count.

December. The month where the year ends. It's been longer than most, but the same number of days. Only fitting then, then it should end with the month.
