Ashley Ream Dispatches from the City of Angels I'm a writer and humorist living in and writing about Los Angeles. You can catch my novel LOSING CLEMENTINE out March 6 from William Morrow. In the meantime, feel free to poke around. Over at my website you can find even more blog entries than I could fit here, as well as a few other ramblings. Enjoy and come back often. |

2009-01-13 8:54 AM Go ahead, roast him Okay, my writer pal Eric Stone is on Book Roast today. Book Roast is one of those cruel things invented to torture writers who, let's face it, would commit acts illegal in all states but Nevada if you promised to buy a book. So help him out. He has to sit there all day - all day - chatting via the comments section, but that only works when there are people to chat with.
You, for example. No, really. I know the guy. He'll talk to anyone about anything. Haven't read his book? Doesn't matter. He'll tell you about it. (There's even an excerpt on the main page of Book Roast.) Don't know anything about Southeast Asia? He'll fill you in. Want a good sweet and sour soup recipe? He's your man. So come on. Go over. Say "hi." Tell him Ashley sent you. Here's how it works: 1. Go to the Book Roast website. 2. You'll see info about Eric and his books at the top. Read all you like. 3. At the bottom of the post in small print, you'll see "## comments" in blue. Click on it. 4. Post a comment. 5. Eric will write you back. 6. Post another. Post to your heart's content. He has nothing better to do. All day. Did I mention he has to be there all day? Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
