Called Ned. "Ned, now you've got a mad woman on your hands because I couldn't get my daughter to school today." "Oh, no." "Oh, yeah, Ned." I dropped two F-Bombs about the expensive price to not fix my van and asked for some money back because I, uh, need it to get my van fixed. Preferably by someone else. He understood. He is very nice. I don't know how he is so nice. But he said he needed authorization to refund me. I like netta's technique for obtainin' some MFin' authorization! I asked him why he did this to me, a returning customer. He wants to fix my van, he said, and wasn't affected by my "you HAVE to fix my van because ya know ya overcharged me!" "Why did you let me take it home? ... I wish I didn't pay you yet! ... Your list of charges adds up to less than I paid ... I'm in the neighborhood and will tell people not to use you": just some of my expressions. "I guess I need a tow" being the final one. He just needs some time with my van, he said. Sometimes this happens where they can't determine the cause right away. They thought it was fixed the first time. They know I am a loyal customer and want me to be satisfied. Blah, blah, blah. He'll send the tow truck over. Did I mention how nice Ned is to talk to? He's really nice. I honestly am willing to forget about the money, but every time the car doesn't start and then runs funny when it does I am reminded. My aunt said she'll take me there later so I can let my monkeys roam and jump around the customer waiting area/where Ned greets customers. Rachel got to stay home today, so she's happy. The boys were excited to see the tow truck for the third time. My aunt said she'll help get the kids to school next week. I grocery shopped yesterday so have no errands to run. Anything else enjoyable about the experience? Well, not exactly. I have just one more paper to write for school! That makes me happy....
