Since June or July Central Texas has had 3 small aircraft crashes which have resulted in deaths for all involved (with the exception of I believe the latest crash in which one person is hospitalized in serious condition).

Thursday we learned of a plot at a Cedar Park (a suburb city about 20 miles north of downtown Austin) high school by some guys who wanted to recreate Columbine.
