I received this (edited slightly to be a bit more in alignment with *my* belief system) from someone who I always thought was a Republican until I recently found out was a life-long Democrat who was leaning toward Bush this year.

I suppose being trusted by the Universe enough to ponder multiple contradictions simultaneously without my head exploding is a 'good' thing but sometime I feel like my head is going to explode :-).

While I don't completely agree with some of the assumptions of the following, I do agree that if prayer is part of your belief system, then pray for him, for all of our sakes.

This is for a man in need of prayer.

Please, take a moment and pray for this man (pictured below). He is in a situation that few people find themselves. He is criticized at every turn, and few people have thanked him for the good things he has done.

Few people know the extent of his situation. We need to pray that Goddess gives him the guidance he needs to do his job effectively. Most of you will recognize him. Please pray for him.

Feel free to pass this on to anyone else who will pray for this man. He hasn't asked me to send this request, but I am sure that he will appreciate all your prayers. If you were facing what he is facing, you'd want people praying for you!
