Nola.com will maintain a missing person's forum, launched on Wednesday morning, that had more than 7,400 postings by late Thursday. The site has also started forums for people who want to volunteer in the rescue and rebuilding efforts and to offer homes to displaced New Orleans residents.

Anyone reading this.. if you know any younger 'My Space ' users... please get the younger folks to post this in their 'My Space' groups...hoping that if some of these parents are not computer users...their kids might belong to a 'My Space' group, and check there for information. We do know that there is some internet available in Houston. Hopefully the younger 'MySpace' users can help us find some people.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, at the government's request, announced a hot line and Web site for reuniting family members separated by the storm. By noon Monday, people will be able to get help at 1-888-544-5475 or at
