By way of illustration below is *one* of the e-mails my son sent his principal this year (details have been changed, typos left as-is). Last I heard the Principal is discussing this w/the TAG and Technology people... Light a candle for me; aye carumba! -=-=-=-=-=-=-= Hello, This is Jasper Higginbotham and i have been wondering if I got this idea because me and my friends (Jake Williams; Rufus Trout; Desiree Hoffman) were making a movie (or trying to so far) and we ran into a few problems: 1.We had a 2.0 megapixel camera which is very blurry 2.We were short of about 10 people 3.We need props I thought that we could make the movie after school with other kids (and of course an adult). We can practice with the school cameras and film the real thing with rental cameras. To get the money for the rentals (by the way I already found a good one) we can have a Sally Foster fundraiser. At my old school we had Sally Foster fund raisers and the school earned a ton of money. The expenseses are this: http://www.atsrentals.com/item--Rent-Bogen-Manfrotto-Tripod--1006.html http://www.atsrentals.com/item--Rent-Panasonic-16-GB-P2-Card--1051.html http://www.atsrentals.com/item--Rent-Panasonic-HVX200-HD-Camcorder--1037.html The total cost for props and the camera rentals is $3000 FOR 10 days. I have very good movie making software that we can use and it is called Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Propack (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/moviestudiopp ). I think the movie should broadcast on the school channel during selected days and a premiere night. We will need to film around the cafeteria and other places because our movie is about a school day that turns into a joke. I have attached a file that has a Word document that I think will work for signing up. Thank you for your sincere consideration of this matter, Jasper Higginbotham Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
