Vicious Bear Attacks West Orange, NJ

Last night, October 31, 2005, a creature that officials are calling "vicious" and "ferocious" attacked a home in West Orange, New Jersey.

There were no fatalities, but the attack led onlookers to say they'd never seen anything like it before.

"I never saw it coming," said one neighbor. "It took me completely by surprise."

The bear, light tan in color with dark brown patches on its tummy and ears, was captured late last night.
