Well, don't look for much nattering in this space for the next couple of days. We're off this afternoon to (what I'm sure will be) lovely Hickory, North Carolina to see a writer in residence, Citizen Raleigh, and the Original Road Trip Queen. Should be much fun.
But it essentially means I have nothing for you now, as I have to go pick up George Rowe the Dog from the groomer's -- he smelled a little too doggy for polite company. It's a sunny day, the bike guy is making us a helluva deal on the new bicycles and, well, what more can a girl ask for?
A working CD player in the car would be nice, but how bout those starving third world kids? I'm not going to stress about it.
Have a good weekend. I'm sure we will.
