2011-03-18 9:34 AM Productivity R Us Productivity R Us - It's been a fevered pitch around here, in my life. Work has me swamped with an extremely complicated documenation project. It *HAS* to be wrapped up today, so I found myself squeezing productivity out of every moment in the office.
At home and on the road, several projects have been consuming my every other waking moment. Last night I had 2 one-hour dance classes to attend. It was nice to have Wednesday off from dancing, and I was able to keep up with the work last night. I'm learning quite a bit about how to be a good TA in a dance class, and I hope my fellow students enjoy the classes. Then it was back on the computer to work on promotional flyers for a live gig with my band in April. If you're in the LA area, please set aside Saturday April 9 for our show at the Mint. The flyers were done and sent off to the guys somewhere around midnight-thirty. This morning, up early again, and back at the sewing machine. I've been sewing a black tiered skirt for our dance outfits required for a Sunday gig. I've *REALLY* like to be able to wear it tonight when I'll be a roadie for the bellydance troupe. But I'm not convinced I'll finish it tonight. I managed to sew for 2 hours before heading to work, and I still have hand-work to do over lunch. Wish me luck. However, I did finish some spinning a few nights ago. I posted the yarn photos of my crafts blog and my crafts Facebook page: Bulky Goth St. Paddy's Day. * * * Today's Blessing That I'm Thankful For: Coffee. Oh sweet caffeine, you will be mine today. #nomnomnom Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
