Christine's New Chapter

After a fabulous meeting this morning with Jenn, I'm almost at a full outline of the novel. She gave me some great suggestions which kick-started my brain, and I should be ready to start this puppy any day now! Which normally would be tomorrow, but instead I think I'll hit the Getty...that would be the MUSEUM SLUT in me!

Ahhhh. Moliere. *drool* I'll have to get my sketch pad out and sit on the floor for a couple of hours. Of course, he'll be waaaay foreshortened...and not as pretty...sigh. I guess I'll have to stand, and get tired feet as I draw...

And I believe they have a Titian portrait exhibit going on right now, as well...how we missed that, I'll never know, unless it wasn't there when we were, which is very possible.

Oh. And one of the women in my online group just got a two-book contract with Kensington, for historical romances. A new line they're putting out. Yay! I'm thrilled for her, and that I'm somehow connected with her...maybe I'll be next. Or, you know, next to next. Or whatever. Not that I write historicals, but yeah, I like reading them. Talk about taking you out of your own life...nothing like discussions of corsets to put you back into the whatever century.

So, tomorrow, unless advice comes in to the contrary, I'm calling the editor in NY and asking her if I should send in another copy of the manuscript.

All she can say is no. But somehow, I don't think she will.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
