Had a great meeting with Jenn this morning, we pinpointed some places for conflict and I managed to slip those in when I got home today. I've written three pages, just a drop in the 15 page bucket I'd been hoping for today but the day's not over yet, damn it.

Wrote an email to my grade school buddy who's been in the sheriff's department for a long time now. I've got tons of questions - hopefully he'll have some awesome answers for me! His day off is Friday so I'm not expecting to hear from him until the weekend, but that should add authenticity to my small town sheriff in my novel! Woo! I'm actually doing 'research'!

Tonight, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, I'm allowing myself one (and only one) shot of tequila. Alongside that will be king crab legs and mexican casserole, eaten as the sunset lingers, the air cools, and the lamplight flickers.

Every time I get the urge to leave Southern California, mother nature brings out a gorgeous evening. What's a native to do, but sit back, relax, and enjoy?

Oh - we're already in fire season, folks. Be aware.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
