Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2004-06-04 1:01 PM Silk / Water Two things happened to divide my day today. The first, as I was outside watering in my garden, I realized that two of the corn stalks now have silk on them. Baby corns are being made through the magic of growth and stuff. (Eloquent, eh?) Just amazing to me.
We've also got zucchini galore - three plants are definitely the right number, as we have enough to eat and give away. A happy medium. The onions are also doing well, and the cherry tomatoes are getting rounder and plumper though they're still green. Some peppers are slowly coming along, and the pole beans are climbing up their strings so life is good in general in the vegetable garden. The other thing that happened today is my mother-in-law went into the hospital. She couldn't move, so they called 911 and took her in - after a phone call to my brother-in-law, it turns out she MIGHT have water pressing on her brain, causing the immobility. When hubby heard about it he immediately made plans to drive out - he hasn't seen her since Thanksgiving, as he was sick at Christmas. So he'll go to the lunch meeting at his work, then come home, pack, and drive to AZ to see his mom and spend the weekend. So, silk and water. My day now officially feels un-anchored. It did so before, but now I've got a reason to feel that way. Think I'll go exercise. 'Scuse me. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
