Christine's New Chapter

Now it looks like hubby's Mom may have dementia, or Alzheimer's, both of which would necessitate her going into a nursing home. Such a bummer. Apparently the tests haven't come out conclusive as to what, exactly, is the problem with her. So we're playing the waiting game.

Not fun.

In the meantime, I've finished judging the 8 entries I was handling. Wow, what a cross-section of really good, polished pieces to solid ideas that needed a lot of help format and grammar wise. Such a learning process for me - and a goad, that I can do this writing thing. This is the contest I entered, btw, so it'll be interesting to see the feedback I get. I know I agonized over feedback, not wanting to squash anyone.

And I've ploughed through another 40 pages of rewrites, so that's good, too.

Tonight I'm off to the Band potluck, elder son's last one. Hope I'm not there long...

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
