I know, technically it's not fall - but the winds have started here, and that's the harbinger of fall for me. Heat's edge is gone, and the wind dries out the plants (and my skin) faster than the heat can. We'll have hot days to come, I know - but the season is turning.

It's probably windy at the beach, so we aren't going today. Boo. But there's writing to do, and critiquing work to do, and glazing some ceramics as well - though I guess we won't be doing that outside today.

I'm tired. I haven't had my morning coffee. I think there's a connection there, somewhere...
