I found a way to beat the heat, finally. Exercise in it. Judiciously, of course, but at least I'm sweating and doing something other than sitting on my ass and making it bigger.

I took yoga today (my inner thighs will never be the same) and at soccer practice, I ran a large lap, walked it, ran it, walked it. I am now officially exhausted.

Even my hand is tired, as I critiqued three chapters today for friends that I should have gotten to days ago, so that made me feel good. Only now I have to post something soon. bleh.

It's still hot and humid now, the cloud cover that was here this morning is still hanging on in fits and starts, not quite covering the sky but not showering down rain, either.

Rain would be nice. Sigh. Okay, time to go make dinner.

I think sleep will come easy, tonight.
