I have glazed four pieces of clay that I had created back in 2003, and bisque fired at the beginning of summer. This weekend we're doing another firing, one of all the glaze test shapes plus some stuff we've actually slopped glaze on.

It's funny - I've forgotten how quickly it dries to the touch.

Three of the things I glazed today may actually turn out - and one is a pure experiment. I brushed it on, which is always a dangerous thing to do as it's hard to get an even coat. Even? Hah! I didn't even try to make it even. Just tried to get it all slopped on so no clay showed through.

Well, it was a pleasant interlude in my day. Now back to combing through the second 100 pages of Lily, to see what I can keep and what needs to be tossed. Not to mention what should be added...
