Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2004-09-17 11:11 AM Busy Week Lots has happened this week. My mom's birthday was on the 11th, I sent her flowers. We had two soccer games that day, plus a Galaxy game that night so we were busy kids.
Sunday we hung out, glaze-fired in the kiln, and I made pizza for a mess of folks (neighbors and others). They got their choice of red or white - with pizza sauce or without. Most took pizza sauce, the barbarians. =D I've been antsy this week, money issues and the hurricanes in the east and a general itchiness. My cycle ended up being off a week - as in a week early. So that explains a lot of hot tempers and icky feelings. I missed my time with Jenn on Wednesday, due to ickiness and no gas money. As well as an impending sense of doom for my Lily novel, but that's another story. Yesterday, due to the kindness of friends, seven of us went to Rincon to have a last sip of summertime. The waves did my body good - man, I should so live close to the ocean. But we all forgot sunscreen - so last night there were five very red bodies. The other Mom and I drank an unfiltered sake that is best slightly chilled (wonderful!), ate brie and crackers and grapes as we sat under an umbrella and otherwise covered up. But when I did hit the water, it provided enough glare to sear my chest and arms and nose. Oh well. A last sip of summer, indeed. Today I shop. The cupboard is bare, so off I go to brave the wilds of Costco and the new Pavillions that opened up nearby (clutching a bunch of freebie coupons in my hand). Later I'll edit, then it'll be time for a tax fire (you know - when you take tax returns from 15 years ago and burn them to ash) and some play with clay. I can taste Fall. I yearn for it. Bring it on. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
