Had a fabulous night last night with a friend of ours from Paris and another couple. The lasagne was hot out of the oven, the bread was fresh, the salad magnificent, and the wine just kept flowing, keeping the five of us in good voice and happy laughter.

What a wonderful evening!

This morning, went to a LARA meeting. We've gotten a lot done in the past year, and will be getting more done in the year to come. I've signed up for VP, ulp, so I'll be more visible. We had our first-ever board luncheon, to thank the outgoing members and welcome the new members to the board of directors, so that was fun. And I learned way more than I wanted to about cowboys! lol

My online RWA chapter has also roped me in on the board; I'm the Publicity Chair. Ugh. But again, it should be interesting, and not THAT much work. Kinda depends on my committee, I suppose! We're huge, so we don't need any more members...well, it'll be interesting.

I received a lot of warm support from friends today. I came up with an article idea, about rejection and how actors and writers learn to deal with auditions (sending off manuscripts) and wrote it up for next month's newsletter for LARA. And I'm ready to brainstorm.

I feel a fit of creativity coming on...
