Pages Written... 7
Listening to... The clock on the wall

Got 7 pages done today both pre-and-post Jenn over at Lulu's. Luckily, filled out one chapter, and started filling out another chapter that had gotten chopped. Hopefully by tomorrow I"ll have that one done (chapter 8) and can get back to the last chapter and get a few more pages done.

We had a wonderful gabbfest, Jenn and I did, over bagels and coffee this morning. And after she left and I was alone with my laptop and headphones and disc player (no, no iPod geek am I ... yet ...), the other geek came in, the guy who's been there for several wednesdays in a row now. He sits, sips his coffee, works on his Times Crossword puzzle, checks his computer every now and then, all for almost an hour before he puts the paper away, puts his iPod (damn, everyone is cooler than I am) ear buds in, and types away at his iMac (see, everyone IS cooler than I am). I'm guessing he's in his 40's; but it's fun watching him check out the girls that come into Lulu's at lunch time.

And I'm usually gone by 1pm. But it's funny. I'd love to know what he writes, but I've got the headphones on, then he does... there isn't really an opportunity to ask.

To be honest, he's also not *quite* cute enough for me to go out on a limb, and actually ask.

So there's that, lol.
