Listening to... Radio Sunnydale
Exercise Done... 1/2 hour walk

Fled the house this morning to get some work done, managed to get six pages in before I fled the bookstore due to giggling teenagers. (I swear, I NEVER giggled like that when I was a teenager. Well, almost never.)

Still have nine pages left to finish the book, but I've got the setup all in place.

Now all I have to do is actually write it.

Had a nice dinner party last night, four friends came over - we figure six is just right around the table, and there's plenty of people to talk to. We had the art consultant over again as well as three theatre friends - hubby had an unveiling of his newest painting, a larger version of the cardinal that he'd done earlier last year.

The painting is amazing, haunting, the figure it portrays is soul-deep ugly in its gilded robes. I can't wait until he starts work on the companion piece of a woman.

I don't know if my book is any good or not, if it flows well or not, if my characters are too angsty or not...I have lost all objectivity and just want to get the darn thing done. So off I go to write.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
