Today is the first day I've had time and energy combined to write. It is a glorious day outside, -5 c and lots of sunshine. Earlier in the week it snowed - snowed! Several times, in fact, over several days! Wonderful, magical, to see snow from the top of Le Tour Eiffel!

But with the snow has come COLD! I wear so many clothes, it's hard to tell if I'm female or not. Even without my trenchcoat. Sigh.

We've had a fabulous time here, with the exception of eating - there is no danger of me gaining weight in Paris, as we have stuck to strictly Parisian restaurants and bistrots - I am sadly less than impressed with the food here. But the people, ah! Mai oui! They have been, without exception, all wonderful.

More later, on the Louvre (too big), the Musee d'Orsay (wonderful!), the Georges Pompidou (fun - fun - fun! And wonderful!). (Have I mentioned it is COLD?)

Hubby is upstairs, he's caught a chill...hence time for me to indulge here, as nothing new has come over the email. but at .15 euro a minute, time is pressing.

Hope all my dear friends are well...we come home tomorrow. And, unfortunately, we are truly looking forward to home - and some spicy food. Mexican, perhaps - thai - or, heck, even some pizza. (Yes, you can get all those here, but when in Paris...)
