Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2005-06-10 4:01 PM The Getty at Sunset Not many people, I'm thinking, get to be at the Getty Museum at sunset. Cars were pouring out as we arrived last night about five. The air was warm, and there was a breeze. We could see to where the marine layer shrouded the ocean - truly a beautiful sight.
The garden was even prettier than it is in winter...well, duh, huh? Everything was blooming. It smelled heavenly. I maintain the guy who designed the garden should have designed the entire Getty complex. The garden should be much bigger, too - but that's neither here nor there. During the day, I managed to get an entire outline - all plot points covered, to boot - written not once, but twice, with a lunch break in between. First time by hand, following cue sheets - second time by computer. It's a beautiful thing (I think...haven't looked at it since.) 5 typewritten pages, single spaced. Yeah, baby. We capped the time at the Getty (after looking at Rembrandt's late Apostle paintings, which had never been brought together before this year) with a lecture on the paintings by some big mucky muck from the National Gallery in Washington D.C. Loved the paintings. And I'm sure the guy is smart - he knows his stuff - but he sure isn't a keep-your-audience-in-stitches lecturer. It was good to get home...but the Getty at sunset is beautiful.
