Exercise Done... 20 mins yoga, 20 mins hanging laundry

End-of-school rituals are over. The swim parties, the sleepovers, the trips to the bookstore to stock up on summer reading, a basketball final, the late night dinner, the outside fire, the companionship of family compounded by the summer solstice and a full moon. What a day yesterday was!

And over it all lay a film of worry. First for my dear Jenn and her health trials. And then hubby calls with news from my Dad - Mom's back in the hospital. Another UTI, but it took them almost 8 hours to admit her - Daddy didn't get home until after 3am, and that after wrestling with the van and the lift that enables him to drive Mom places in her wheelchair. They are hoping to stablize Mom and send her home by tomorrow, but they aren't sure.

It just seems like I'm never there when needed, lately, for whomever happens to need me. At least I've been able to write (though I will say, my productivity dropped like a stone yesterday after hearing about Mom, which is why I only got 5 pages done).

Today, however, is another day. No news so far from Dad. Jenn has an appointment with a specialist tomorrow. The kids are, blessedly, healthy and happy.
