This morning, I got up at the ungodly hour of 5:30 to prepare for the annual Texas Tract Yard Sale. (So called because the housing tract I live in all has Texas cities as street names - and the sale is, you know, every year.) In our tract, which is probably two miles square, there were over 35 yard sales going on this morning. Some folks are still out there selling, too.

Still, I hauled out the kids' action figures and Power Ranger toys, some Disney videos, a portable camping table, lots of china (a tea set with roses and another one with apples, several pie plates, creamer and sugar, punch bowl with 12 cups), books, stuffed animals, 3 bikes, two unopened picture frames, etc.

Covered four tables with the stuff.

Had my first customer wander by at 6:30am - my last customer at 11:05am, by which time I was toasty hot and cranky - and $112 richer, left with a mere two boxes of loot to haul away to the Salvation Army.

Not too bad for a morning's work! Now as soon as I take a nap, eat lunch, and recover, I'll have time to write.
