Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2005-07-10 7:37 PM In a Clorox Fog Pages Written... 2?
Listening to... Music from the picture "Ben Hur" Exercise Done... Gardened, walked up and down screaming at the soccer game, scrubbed a chair, scrubbed the refrigerator, spray painted a chair... There's a spray cleaner out from Clorox that's the neatest thing. I have two Adirondack chairs, white plastic, that I've had for, oh, 10 years - they looked terrible - grey. I sprayed some of that stuff on them, and before my eyes the grey bleached to white. Amazing. Picked a ton of apples, dug up most of my potatoes (MY potatoes! So COOL!), made an apple crisp, and proceeded to clean out the fridge - well, it's been almost 5 years. Every five years it gets cleaned, whether it needs it or not. (Oh, hush. I'm just kidding. Jeez.) I'll skip over the gory parts (I almost tossed a shelf through the largest window I could find) to just say, where yesterday I couldn't find room for a slice of pizza, now it looks like we never go to the grocery store. And we just spent $60 there today! But the big news - elder son had his last soccer game of this year's tournament season today. They played out over at the Glendale fields - which were in piss-poor conditions. They were uneven, and the middle was a huge dust bowl. My son was knocked down - he rolled, tried to stand, rolled again, and by the time he got up he had dirt everywhere. Back of jersey and shorts, sifting through his hair, on his face and arms and hands. Poor kid. Good thing the ref called a foul and we got a direct kick off it. And yay, our team won! With no subs and 2 ringers, because we were 5 people short this tournament - so the kids had to play the entire game. It was a really good season, and my son learned a lot. Grew up a bit, got more confident. Oh - and he's taking 10th grade world history this summer, to get it out of the way. (SHAMELESS BRAGGING COMING) He's had 6 tests so far - and he's gotten 100% on all of them. Woo! I'm so proud of the boy! Okay - now I've got to go take a shower and get rid of the smell of bleach. I think it's taken over my hands. Which might help, actually, because I'm having right wrist problems. I really need to switch the mouse to my left hand. Must do that tomorrow.
