Christine's New Chapter

So far, day one has gone well. We had a chapter president's retreat today, with speakers and discussion groups and a huge exchange of business cards. Met a lot of really nice folks who will be getting emails from me about various and sundry stuff.

And on the brighter side, I've managed to lose only $10 after playing a lot last night and a little this afternoon! Now, no more playing until Saturday...or maybe Sunday morning.

My roommate and I went to the steakhouse last night for dinner -omg was it good. And EXPENSIVE. I thought I would hyperventilate when I paid the bill - only the waiter said I could take not only the wine but the wineglass up to my room, so I calmed down pretty quickly. But excellent food that I couldn't finish.

Ugh - in half an hour, I play water girl to 200 authors who are signing their books for literacy. Well - the money raised from the purchases goes to the literacy program of whatever city we have our conference in. So.

I need to get some nap time now. More later! (And YAY for the roomie with a laptop!)

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
