Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2005-07-29 7:16 PM Feet on fire... Not really, but I got very little sleep Wednesday night (snoring roomie) and stood a LOT yesterday. Didn't get back to my room until 11:30, and then stayed wide awake for another hour, sigh. But at least I had earplugs last night.
The conference is going extremely well for me, not so much for some others in my group. Oh well. Had a good open circle last night, watched a fire dancer (wow! can I just say?), sold tee shirts, bot a yummy grocery list pad with a picture of half nekkid guys on it (oh my!), and glad handed all over the place. Wednesday night was excellent, too. I met a ton of folks at the literacy signing, again walking my feet off. A lot of these women I only see once a year at conference - but the energy and at times the synergy is just amazing. I meet with the editor and agent this afternoon. I'm feeling strong and confident (kick ass, if you will) and am ready to forge these relationships. Heck, I know I won't sell a book at this conference. But I can begin relationships with these two women and carry on from there. By the conference in Atlanta, I will have sold a book to Harl/Silhouette. That is my wish/dream/desire/goal/need. Now all I have to do is work my ass off to make it happen. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
