Small Things (mainstream)

It's been years since I lived in the house in Paramour, Arizona, but little had changed. As I wandered through the maze, the decades-worth of belongings that the family will pull apart and keep/toss, sell and give away, I yearned to tell the story of Pearl and Nancy-Joan and Ruthie as I first knew them; but the ending scared me because at some point, people die. I wasn't sure I could face that.
