Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2005-10-24 4:24 PM What weekend?! I certainly don't feel like I had a weekend. Friday was fairly relaxing, I'll admit - but Saturday I was up and about by 6:30am, out at the soccer fields at 7:30am, stayed until 1pm, went home, goofed off a little, then packed up family and props and went off to the Huntington Library and Gardens to perform three Edward Gorey pieces (as a family) for their Poe & Gorey night.
Much fun was had by all, and the powers that be are working out how to get more people in next year - possibly two nights on separate weekends. (It's a security personnel issue - for every so many people in the place, they need a security guard.) We got home at 10:30, stayed up for nachos and wine until about 11:30ish before we collapsed into bed. And on Sunday I started my new job - up at 6:30am to make sure I really was awake...and didn't eat much breakfast. But we worked hard - when we first got there, there was NOTHING in the store except empty fixtures for clothes (and naked mannekins). By 10:30am, we'd unloaded a truck and had all the rolling racks unloaded and most of the clothes in their appropriate places. Then the boxes got unloaded...we worked our tootsies off, we did! I came home at 5:20 and collapsed into a bathtub that hubby had thoughtfully run for me. Then I made pizza. (sigh)But the good news is, Tom bought us a washer - ours just isn't working any more. This morning it was up at 5:30, yoga and abs work and then oats for brekkie before herding the kinder and heading off to work, BARELY making it due to traffic on the freeway. Note to self: don't go that way tomorrow. And I'm working tomorrow again until 2pm, but then I'm off until Wednesday at 5pm, where we have our pre-opening and get to shop! Yay! Thursday, we open. I'm working 9:30a-5p. I'm totally expecting to be completely exhausted by the end of my day. And still no iPod of any type in sight. Maybe next paycheck.
