Zaphod my kitty has taken liberties no other cat has ever been allowed. He sleeps curled up at my chin (or on top of my head, or in the small of my back). He is a bucket of love and I'm so glad we have him.

But today hubby had to take him to the vet to get neutered. So the house is empty of Zaphod. Empty.

I can have the doors wide open without fear the cat will run outside, but there's no purr beast to take up residence in my lap as I type.

I took the dogs for walks this morning, just for something to do, but it wasn't the same as petting a purring cat.

I'm afraid I've been transformed into a cat person. Is it time for him to come home yet?
