Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2006-01-31 3:51 PM Crazystupid Started SUPERHEROES, the novel I plotted out. Thought it was pretty good until I re-read it a few days later. Yuck. YUCKETY Yuck yuck yuck.
I realized this is the second try at the first chapter of this story, and something clicked with me. I usually write three or four first chapters before something grabs hold and can sustain the story. Three or four. Wow. That's just crazystupid. Not to mention, my crit partners (once they really get wind of this habit o'mine) will be rolling their eyes. So. Off I go to write the third start to this novel. Because it would be REALLY nice to get to chapter six before the end of February. ********************************************************** In other news, Zaphod came home bouncing off the walls. It's almost like they didn't give him any meds at all, he was so bouncy. Didn't want to be picked up until he'd been home for almost two hours, so that's something. I'm just glad we'll never have to go back to that place, ever again. Stupid people. (Hubby got him there at 9am. Zaphod hadn't been touched at 4:30pm - they were concerned about his eyes. They couldn't have *called* one of the three numbers hubby gave them?) Zaphod's had one drippy eye since we got him. We've got ointment to put in both eyes and an antibiotic to give him orally. Fun stuff...not... Outside of the indignity of the eye meds, he's doing outstandingly well. Nosing into everything, picking fights with the dogs. My buddy is home again. And just climbed up my shoulder, and is purring up a storm. Life is good. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
