Christine's New Chapter

By my computer's clock, it's already 2009. By my home clock, I've got five minutes left of the old year.

I tried to go to sleep earlier, but it proved too elusive. So at the second round of fireworks (the first going off about 8pm), I got up and here I am, between years, listening to the neighbors make the noise as their clock strikes midnight and mine inches toward it.

The dogs outside merely whine. The cat is asleep, as is hubby who is fighting a cold.

I've made a few mistakes this past year. I'm sure I'll make more in the coming year. But may all my mistakes, past and future, harm only me.

My clock still hasn't hit midnight yet. We must really be off from the rest of our neighbors, as their clanging and ruckus is still going on.

Where ever you may be, whatever you may be doing, may you be your best self in the coming year.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
