Exercise Done... pruning roses

Some days are just off. This morning is one of those days. I headed out to coffee bean, later than usual due to dropping son off at school - high winds make bike riding dangerous - so by the time I got here, my corner spot was taken. All the tables were taken. Even the uncomfortable bar was taken.

Sigh.

I finally, after 30 minutes, get a table - and it's got glare all over the screen. If I turn the other way, it's glare all across my eyes. And no, there aren't shades on those windows. My head is pounding, the people are yakking, and I think I'm gonna take my big cup of Sumatra and go home. Write in the relative peace there, until it's time to go to Borders, to meet up with Dayle. That will definitely be the highlight of my day!

But the good news is, the novel is going well, and I only need 3600 words today to make my 10,000 word goal for the week (m-f). Any writing on the weekends is gravy.

Ah, but a CB&T buddy has appeared - so a bit of chat before I run away and hide from the cruel sun and nasty winds...

The day will get better!

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
