Exercise Done... gym, bike around the block

I thought it was a clever idea. Mix writing with fitness. i.e., to wit; ride my bike to Coffee Bean, write, then ride home.

So like an ass, when the Honda which has 238,000 miles on it started hiccuping in it's transmission, I broach the subject to hubby.

And I fell in love with a bike. A beautiful bike. Pretty. Comfortable! Perfect handles, perfect seat, perfect color and a basket for my computer. What more could I want?

Uh...lungs, perhaps? Legs to work the damn hills where I live? Riding around the block near killed me.

But I'm stuck. And come Monday, when I need to write and I don't have a car to get there, then I shall strap on my old helmet and grit my teeth and force my leg muscles to perform.

In other news...

I'm actually going to Snowmass, Colorado to visit my dearest friend, Tammy in February.

Yeah. What was I thinking? I couldn't have picked, say, August, when the mushrooming is really good? Nope. February. Snow. Lots and lots of snow.

Oh. My. God.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
