Except for when I was getting my teeth cleaned by a sadist, I was watching the happenings in Washington D.C. today on channel 2 - all the way until Dr. Phil came on and disturbed me greatly.

Of course, since once they all got past the parade walk, I had to dial flip (pundits can be extremely boring) and I watched oh, four episodes of The West Wing - the two election episodes where Santos and the other guy are running, then the two after that - I LOVED the part when Josh flew across the country to see the Rob Lowe character - he opens the door during a legal team meeting and Rob turns around, excuses himself, and says to Josh as he passes him, "I thought you'd never call."

I LOVED that part! And the part where Donna and Josh get together. YES! Finally! Though I was sad that CJ and Danny didn't quite make it. At least, I don't think they did - I haven't seen the end of the series, just caught various fabulous episodes in daytime reruns as the years have passed.

And I can tell you, while election night was happening, I was wishing we had a camera in the wings, showing what it was like for both candidates behind closed doors. I do loves me the West Wing TV show.

And I do loves me the new administration. May we all "man up" enough to pull this country out of the funk it's in!

And that's why I haven't gotten any writing done. So help me God.
