Christine's New Chapter

I woke up this morning about 3:15. Couldn't get back to sleep. Finally got up at 4:45 and knocked on my eldest son's door - he was still up (not unusual this year).

I asked him to take a walk with me. We dressed and walked to the top of one of the big streets in our neighborhood. The sky was clear of the marine layer we've had all week and we marveled at how bright Venus was, and Jupiter, and how from the east to the west, all the shades of blue blended from light to deep dark.

And when we turned around, the birds started their early morning warbling, all the shades of blue had bleached to blue-white, and more people were out and about.

It was a lovely 45 minutes.

When we got back, son went to bed, I futzed on the computer for songs for him (LOST by Sunlounger & Zara - great song), and finally went back to bed myself around seven.

A really, really nice morning.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
