Christine's New Chapter

So I'm prepping my boy YA entry. And I really want a male teenager's POV on it before I send it.

So I had the eldest read it, after first confessing it was based a bit on his current dilemma. (My "mom way" of solving his problem, albeit via a novel.)

He liked it. He found the hero interesting (and not too much like him. When I suggested I change something, he was vehement against it. And when I tried to tell him what happens in the book, he waved me off, telling me not to spoil it for him as he wants to read it.

HUGE GRIN. Such a good feeling. Such a gift. Wow.

Later, I had my youngest read it. I asked him the same questions - did the main character read as a real person? He said yes. And that he was totally sucked in to the book. And he wants to read the rest.

I'm hoping it gets published. But even if it doesn't, it gets two thumbs up from my most important critics - my 18 y/o and my 15 y/o.

Life is sweet!

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
