Christine's New Chapter

So, I've entered a bunch of contests. The very first one I entered, I didn't final in - and I just got back my entries.

Out of 120 points, I received a 59, a 91, and a 120. WTF??

The 91 and the 120 had no extraneous comments for me, really. They are both published, too. Oh, the 91 person said she had a hard time with the language which is partially why she scored it low. (Lots of typical cuss words. Sigh.)

The 59? She is unpublished. Had probably never read a paranormal before. She is definitely NOT my market.

But I have to laugh, ultimately. Let's hope I don't get this kind of diverse reaction from agents and editors.

Sigh.

On the other hand, if I DID get that kind of reaction, then one in three would want to represent me/buy my work, right?

Hrmmmm....

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
