Christine's New Chapter

My grape tomatoes are finally ripening. There is nothing so happy-making as a fresh tomato, bursting with flavor in my mouth.

We went to the beach yesterday, had a great time. Watched a wedding take place - the bride and groom were in their late 30's I think - and it was lovely.

Had a fabulous evening. Eldest son got his first jury summons. He'll get his school schedule taken care of before he returns everything. And today, he's off for an all day beach adventure with five of his close friends.

Hubby and youngest are off to all-day improv classes, so I've got the house to myself. Selfishly, I didn't go to Tai Chi. After picking tomatoes and zucchini and yellow squash and beans, after re-stapling part of the fence around the garden, and after giving everything a good watering, I decided to be good to myself and enjoy the day alone. It's been a long time since I've had a day at home, alone.

Tonight, when everyone is back, there'll be home made pizza and salad, and La Vie En Rose on the DVD player.

Life is good.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
