Another agent rejection last night. This one said "I regret to say, it's not a perfect fit for me. I apologize for not having better feedback for you..."

I've gotta say, that's a pretty darned good rejection, having an agent apologize! It's a good story, a strong story. It'll either find a home or it'll wait for awhile.

I'm not going anywhere.

After day-jobbing my tush off almost all last week and early this week, I've finally got time to write today and tomorrow. I'm feeling a bit in limbo - not knowing what to work on. I've started a one-off novel and I've started a companion book to the YA, both in the past couple of weeks. But I've also got the next paranormal book to write. Choices...

It's nice, right now in my writing life, to not be pinned down to any one genre. From what I understand from my writing friends who've published, once I sell it'll be that much harder to switch. So I guess I'll work more on the YA this week. I've got it mostly figured out, what happens in gross overtones at any rate. A plus, since I'm not usually a plotter.

Time to go make some carrot/apple/beet juice and hubby's lunch. Maybe do some yoga, too...
