9-11-2001 feels like it happened yesterday. I don't think our country will ever forget. I didn't realize we were the grudge-holding type - but I guess we are. Or at least, we are right now.

9-11 is also my mom's birthday. She would be 80 this year if she were still alive. It's hard to believe she's been gone for 3 1/2 years. Feels like just yesterday...I miss her.

And I miss our country, pre-9-11.
