Christine's New Chapter

I love this word, and not in a Gordon Gekko sense.

I've picked up the play again and have gotten a good start on the second act. When I updated my actors about my progress on the play and asked them if they wanted it via email when I was done, both of them replied (only to me, not to everyone) that they were greedy for it.

Greedy. For my work. Two separate emails, two separate people. Greedy for MY work. Oh. My. Goodness.

Maybe I'm a playwright and not a novelist. Maybe I should be doing that unthinkable thing that everyone in Hollywood who's not an actor (and even some of those) are doing, and that is screenplays.

Oh. My.

It's kind of hard to wrap my mind around. Hubby, of course, is saying "I told you so". It can get annoying when the spouse is right.

So I'm not making a complete shift away from novels, I'm just taking a novel break to get the play done.

And then we'll see what we shall see.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
