So we finally figured out the washer outflow was backed up. We can't do anything about it until this weekend, as we're all really busy. But I got the fan out, peeled back the carpet and the soaked padding, and blew the fan on it for 2 days. It's dry now though no less stinky - and the only place that's good to write in this house is the office as my desk is the right height. Sheesh.

Plus - I've worked every night this week. For a week I wasn't supposed to work much, I'll have 20 hours - and I get to work tomorrow, too. Thank you for the hours, I do appreciate them! Really. Thank you! I'm sure my husband will forgive me. Eventually.

I'm 800 words short for today's writing, which means I'll have to stay at coffee bean longer tomorrow and write more. If I do 15k a week for six weeks, I can get this puppy first-drafted before surgery, with time for a rewrite.
